October 6, 2009.

Another week gone in my mission ill never get back and i cant believe how fast its going!  feels like only a few days ive been out but its been a little longer than that!  there is snow on the mountain tops now and its nice to see!  cant really discribe how beautifull it is and i cant take pics too cause its too far but trust me on it!  every morning i wake up and go outside and smoke comes outta my mouth cause its so cold!  thats not normal to me and i love breathing just to see it!  we need to scrape all the ice off the windows of the car in the mornings and i always play with it and throw it at my comps.!  one of the elders in the district made good friends with me and wanted to make me a beenie so i told him i wanted a rasta beenie and it turned out super nice!  ill send pics soon but i was so stoked and imma wear it all winter!  people have been letting us into their houses alot more cause its so cold and so thats one of the blessings of the cold!  this week was amazing because ive seen many miricles but its no surprise because i know ur all praying for me and i feel the blessings being poured on me so thank you!  we have a baptism on sat and im excited for it!  we keep seeing people come into the waters of baptism in this area and im so greatfull for their choises to take that first step!    i woke up this morning by myself to do my studies and it was about 730 and i hurd a knock on our door!  i thought "who would be visiting us at this time?"  so i opened it up and it was the ladie we live with!  she asked if she could talk to me and i said of corse!  she explained how her sons wife (that lives above us) had just got word that through the night her brother killed himself!  intence!  she is pregnet and on the way down stairs to let her mother in law know she fell and hit her huge belly on the way down!  she needed a blessing bad and so i ran to wake my companion!  he woke and we went to give her a blessing! i knew her husband should give it but he was at work and she needed it so i gave it to her! i just remember alot of tears and i blessed the baby to be perfectly fine due to her faith and that it would be born fully healthy!  i know for a fact that it was not me that said that so i know it will be fine!  i also found myself telling her only god knew her brothers situation and that all would be well!  i found myself explaning that god is perfectly just but perfectly mercifull and she would overcome all if she remained faithfull!  i found that after all was done the blessing came to an end and she had a smile on her face! i knew the holy ghost had lifted her up in her time of need and she had enough faith to ask for a blessing and she was healed from all that bothered her!  if i could leave one thing with you it would be that the power of the priesthood but more importantly, through faith anything,  ANYTHING!  is possible!  never doubt if ur doing what is right u will be taken care of!  anything we go through in this life is so minor in the eternal aspect of things and in the words of joseph smith "all will be made right if we are faithfull" when emma was questioning why the lord took her baby away from her again!  on a lighter note!  we had interviews with president Yardley and in my interview, well we started with a prayer!  in his prayer he commended me many times for my patience and love in coping with my two companions and he also said that he would be rewarding me in the next few weeks with a elder "i could form like me and run with!"  what a relief it was to me to hear those words!  i had finally passed his "test" and slowly turned this place (kuna) around so he said ill be getting a elder that is younger than me but he will run as fast as i can in regards to the work!  im so happy that in two weeks we will be exausted due to the amount of work we will do!  being tired all the time means were doing it right!  he also said I would stay in kuna and he would come in!  so all the bonds ive made will just grow after I made such strong relations in caldwell and he ripped me out of there!  i miss them but i know now i needed to be here!  i wanted to jump up and down in joy but i briddled my passions and just hugged him!  thanked him as he said "youve made me proud,  keep it up!"  cant wait but two weeks still i need to push because i want to continue to see great things with the people of kuna!   heavenly father is taken great care of me and is just teaching me almost more than my little brain can take but i continue to strive to learn all i can cause its all we take with us when we die!  finally the funnie random garcia storie of the week!  (we will only be blessed with 2 more cause he will be leaving)  here it is!  it had rained this morning and we went to del taco to eat after basketball and we got our food first so we went outside to sit down and we saw that the bucket shaped chairs were soaked so we poured the water out and dried it then sat down!  garcia was so hungry and ran out with his food and sat in his seat!  we waited for it and a few short seconds later he jumped up and his whole butt was soaked!  hi was wearing these sweats so the whole thing was like a sponge!  to make it worst,  we went to a house in the mountian to visit someone and the water on his butt froze making his butt numb hahaha!  i felt bad but for real tho!  it was funnie!  we finally went home so he could change but i will never forget how he litirally froze his butt off!
