October 13, 2009.

Man i love being a missionary!  i have had such amazing things happen this week and im so glad i will be staying in Kuna!  i know my new companion pretty well and he is a super cool guy!  strange,  i actually met him in a store in utah before i even came out!  he was in missionary mall and we talked and i found out he was going to boise too!  he was in the mtc with me and now he is going to be my companion!  i cant wait!  i know he will be willing to work hard and i love that!  president called us last night and said i would be staying and the other two leaving and he also said i will be the area leader!  he said that he has never made someone an area leader in his third transfer out but said he trusted me to do it !  im stoked that i have an awesome president and i love him lots!  my comp elder garcia came down with brownchites ( i have no clue how to spell that) but yeah he is sick!  so elder kaler has stayed home with him and i go out all day with the other steaks elders and we cover (the 3 of us) both steaks which is 16 wards!  thats a lot of work!  well any way it has been awesome to meet plenty new people!  at church on sunday i went to 3 wards by myself and i recieved 4 refferls and investigators!  2 came up to me and said we moved from boise and we need to be baptised !  they want to learn all the lessons and i told them i could help them achieve there goals!  i also commited a lady that smokes to baptism and we set it for nov. 29!  she asked why and i said its my birthday and she was stoked!  i could never ask for a better present than that!  it seems like scince elder garcia was smitten with sickness,  the work has exploded!  sad but true!  i cant wait for next tue. when i get my new comp!  we have given many blessings lately and i love the power i feel in them!  the amount of faith i feel from the individual is amazing!  i love it!  its getting super cold here and the mountains are getting more and more snow on it!  the district is getting together a lot and making music!  i play ukulele and elder stepherson plays piano and elder etherton plays drums and we also have a guitar player!  it is so awesome to play church hyms with all these musical insturments!  it sounds awesome and ill try to record it!  well this is the thanksgiving and halloween transfer and members give us so many pumpkins its crazy!  we have some huge ones and we are all going to carve it on p day!  imma try make a wave outta one!  we will see how it goes!  the elder that trained me will be headded to kuna to be our zone leader on tue!  thats kind of exciting to be able to serve with him again kind of!  we had a baptism this week!  it went so good !  i gave a talk on the holy ghost and the man we baptised is the worlds number one boise state fan and huge seattle sea hawks fan so i related the holy ghost to foot ball of corse!  i said that boise needs the blue turff to help them win games because they are not that good!  the holy ghost is like the blue turff,  it will always be there for you!  to help you and give you that unfair advantage agenst the devil!  and to relate it to the sea hawks i said its that 12 man!   he was so stoked to be a member and he will excell in this gospel!  such a sprit filled event!  i dont have too much time so this is all i can write this time but i want you all to know i try my hardest to keep you in my prayers and hope you all stay strong in the gospel!  it has blessed my life so much and i wish you could see how people change when they have the light of Christ in there lives!  words cant explain!  any way till next tue with my new comp.  ALOHA!
