Aloha family! thanks so much for all the letters and e mails! i love to hear how all is going back home! i love how fast winter is coming! the trees here are all yellow and orange and red! its such a cool sight! it got up to the 70s but will drop again real soon! its weird how it will rise and drop so dramaticly! any way tomorrow is transfers and i need to have the other two elders at the mission office by 520 am! witch means we wake up at kike 430! yeah i cant wait! with thanksgiving coming up i have had 2 people reserve us to feed us! i think imma scedule around 5 or 6 meals that day just to see how much i can eat! i cant wait! and that also means left overs! well i dont know if u remember the whole dwarf bagdad story i told you but if u do i will be going over this thursday to teach them english and we found a program to do it! its like flash cards and we make up sentences with them! its cool and i cant wait! the handicaped son was in church and went with the dwarf girl to primary! that is a huge step because he would be killed if someone from bagdad ever found that out! if they were to come to church they would never be able to return to bagdad or they would all be murdered! interesting huh? any way i had a long dinner with the eliot family i think that was their name! any way they brought me some stuff from aunty nikki and aunty kit! i loved the butter mochi and poi! thanks so much! they are super cool and they showed me all the pics of hawaii they had taken! i have never been even the littlest home sick till i seen those pics! every where i love was on those pics! Hau'ula bowls, sunset, the church on homestead, the temple, and i was very surprised when i flipped through all there pics and came across MY TRUCK! they just happened to snap a pic of the ocean from the church and my truck pulled right in front of the picture at the last sec. and they ended up with some random truck in the pic! they were about to delete it but they just left it and it turned out to be my truck! i was so stoked to see it and they never believed that that was my truck till i showed them the braddah less sticker on my binder that matched the one on my truck! any way it turned out that he was the main guy in charge of P.I.E. or priesthood in excelence and he was looking for an intermission song and i guess aunty nikki talked up my ukulele skills and he asked me to play a childs prayer with his wife on the piano and me on the uke and i would sing the boys part, she will sing the girls part then both of us together! i said yeah and we were both stoked! its not till the end of november tho! all is going well here in the mission and i cant wait for the upcoming months! we are going to see many many miricles and u will hear of all of them! president called me and reminded me of the potential i have and how important it will be to guide this new elder in the right ways and just told me to keep doing what im doing! i love him! he has such a great sprit and is very in tune to recive revalation for us! everytime you pray for me include him in ur prayers! i also will be speaking in steak confrence this sunday and i cant wait for that! i hope the spirit will guide me cause i going up with no papers just my good old scriptures and i know i will be a vessel for the spirit to speak through! i hope all is well over in Hawaii Nei! Stay strong everyone and congrats Nate and Kristen on ur calls to serve the lord! study preach my gospel like no other and u will be alright! i love u all! Aloha
Isaac! I'm so glad I found this blog and can check up to see how things are going in IDAHO. Hawaii isn't the same without you here, can't wait for you to get back, but you have so much more to accomplish out there. Sounds like things are going great. I can relate to your experiences with working in the cold...people definitely let you in more just cause they feel sorry for you! Have you ever met an elder kraus? I dont even know if that is how you spell his last name, but he is one of my little brothers good friends and I worked with him the summer before he left. Keep up the good work! CHEEE HEEE!
