October 27, 2009.

HOWZIT family! this week has been awesome! i see many baptisms coming up and i cant wait! this week we set goals to commit 4 people to baptism and i know that through much faith and the sprit they will agree! we have been on the move! just not enough time in the day to get everything done! i know that its winter soon cause the trees are now dead looking and the moutains are full of snow! we should get some here this week so i cant wait! we have also set many goals to commit people to getting back to church cause all last transfer i had made very great friends with everyone were working with and now im getting down to buisness! dont get me wrong i love making friends but now that we are friends, i need to start dropping commitments on them to help them progress! if they wont keep them the it will break my heart but we will need to move on to find those who are ready! we will not drop them but just visit less! everyday plans itself out! no time to sit around and think what to do! we are being exactly obedient and striving to be faithfull! i love how many miricles we are seeing! we give many blessings to those with swine flu cause it is huge right now! every family has it! we spoke in steak confrence on sunday and i loved it! when i frist got on to e mail president called and said that he got calls from people in the steak that told him how powerfull our talks were and now want to do better! he was proud and said he wants to keep me and elder ridgway together for a while and then he asked if we knew what was next? we said no, he said we would be training the new missionaries soon! so im stoked that he has so much faith in us and i am assured that it is all of ur prayers that are doing it for me! keep helping me see miricles! so my comps talk was bold on sunday! he was like Jeffrey R Holland up there just preaching how it is not just our job to be missionaries but everyones! basicly he called them out and said to step their game up! chee hee! i never told him he was speaking in steakconfrence till the morning of it and only 2 hours ahead! i said "im going to need you to be in touch with the sprit today ok?" and he said "i will but why?" i said "were speaking in steakconfrence in a couple hours so start praying for insperation!" i did not want him to prepare a talk or anything cause those are boring! so any way i related my talk to surfing and it went well! it was also the day after hawaii got spanked so i introduced myself and pleaded that none talk to me after about the score! the whole place lit up in laughter and i had to try hard to invite the sprit back in! but boy did it come back! i also focused on how many inactive members there were and it is sad to think if they were all active we would need to split the steak! TWICE! so i said to do something today cause a bunch of tomorrows lead to alot of empty yesterdays! i know its bad but we felt like rock stars after cause for over an hour we had a line to shake our hands and many personal commitments to get us refferls! we actually had people call us rock stars but we are just humble servents far from stars. but the whole reason im telling you this is cause we all, including me, need to step our game up! no excuses in these last days guys! get up get out and get going cause there are souls at steak! so any way, this week by far has been the best yet and many more great ones to come! ok i guess i need one funnie story so ill leave with this one! it taught me to be humble and let others help in our time of need! we were doing service for a random old lady and we were cutting and trimming trees and burning the excess stuff in a burn pile on the ranch! she had her 4 grandkids there just roaming and i had a load i was taking to the burn pile and elder ridgway behind me but as i threw mine in the fire he was dropping his wood cause he was laughing! he said "did u see him?" i said no and he said look! there was the little boy (hard head 5 year old) helpless cause while climbing through the off limit fence to feed the horses he got his butt caught on the brabed wire! he was dangling and did not want help but was quick to tell us it was not funnie! i was rolling cause his whole butt cheek was exposed to the freezing cold weather! he would not except help so he finally just ripped the whole thing and got loose! the rest of the day he walked around with one hand holding it shut and thus we learn that in our time of need we need to let others help and not be afraid to ask for it either! the lessons we learn from kids yeah! ok shoots ill talk to u guys later!~
