JULY 27, 2010.

Aloha Ohana! This week was so awesome! We have had some of the most spiritual lessons and we love the feeling of being able to teach with the spirit guding our lessons! We have had our first interviews with pres. cannon and he is a great man! I cant wait to get to know him better and work with and under him! I love this town of Eagle! We get free shave ice at all the shave ice stands! Its like the new big thing aroung here! Everyone has been into these "Hawaiian snow cone" shacks and they make good money off it! It is actually good too! Its not like typical mainland chunky stuff its fine shaven and good! I think its so funnie up here how they put "Hawaiian" on any thing and it sells! K so quick random story! Elder Eyring and i on sat went to the Nawahines house for aunty and unkos farewell (they are headed to the navaho reservation to serve as the Sr. couples) and while we were there we got to see all the local familes there... Unko Piko from Hau'ula was there and his family and the Nawahis were there too with their family and some of the aunty norma and unko hanks sons were there! It was so much fun, but while we were shooting ball with kekoa the ball rebounded and was headded to the pool so Elder Eyring ran to go get it and sliped on the deck right into the pool!!! He went in head first in his Full Pros. clothes! Shoes tie and all! Even his planner and white handbook got soaked! Everyone stood there just in shock for a few seconds then i yelled to him "YEAH BRA" and everyone just lost it! We all cracked up for a while and then i asked Kaleo for some clothes for him to change into! It was so classic! I thought for a second that if i was a good companion i should have jumped in to "save" him but i never cause i was obident! After everyone had their laughs we had a fat Kanikapila session and jammed out for a little while! It was good fun! Im going to miss Aunty Norma and Unko Hank but im so glad they can go forth and serve! I told them i would come back for their homecoming and i will! Anyway i know it may not sound like it but were working hard! Super hard but we have the load of fun while we do it! We are close to setting some dates with investigators and cant wait! I love you all! Till next week...
