Aloha family! hope everyone had a great christmas! im so stoked for new years coming up and the B.S.U. bowl game too! there is no tracting at all while the game is on because its "not safe" there will be absolutly no work while the game is on and the whole town shuts down! crazy huh! we can watch the game with investigators so im stoked! well nothing new went on this week scince i called home and we have not taught too many lessons cause every one is out of town on trips! but we have taught a few! oh yeah we taught Ricky the man the has no short term memory and he with all sincerness asked me... "Elder Runnels, tell me the truth ok?" i said yeah of corse... he said " you know cause your so close to the lord and we all arnt?.. well do you get to see God? or are you not alowed to tell me?" hahaha k sorry but that was so classic! i said Rick, thanks for the great complement but sorry to shatter your dreams... NO we are just like you... we prob. wont ever get that chance for a while! Another random thing! we found out that one of the people i taught all the new member lessons to, a recent convert, was put in prison! i guess a while back she was framed for some imbesslement fraud and it took a while for her case to clear but she was hauled off 3 weeks ago to prison! sweetest lady and young kids too! she was the most solid recent convert ever but her past caught up to her! she swears she is innocent and we all believe her but she had no money for a good lawer so she was screwed! i feel so bad! 18 months! her kids were all under 9 years! sad but its life i guess! im trying to do all i can to see her but it takes 6 months to do a backroung check on me and my comp so it might not happen! ill keep trying tho! i get to lay tile tomorrow for a widow! im stoked cause she cant afford it but she has the tile so ill do it for her! i cant wait! not much else happened but bishop decker one of the bishops gave us nerf guns for christmas and we have a blast with them! there so fun and we got our whole zone to get nerf guns too and were having next p day a huge nerf fight! well thats it for now! ilove you all aloha!
