Farewell in Hauula Kaimuki ward 6/21/09

Isaac was born and raised in Kaimuki ward and there were many people there who wanted to hear from him before he left so he was asked to have a farewell in this ward also.  Speakers were, Nikki Mozo, Jason Rivers, Wilson Fatongia and Isaac.  We also sang our song again, Helamans Army.  This was another sacrament meeting where the spirit was really strong.  On a personal note (nikki speaking) I thought of the five years that Jon and I spent in Kaimuki ward and how small the Runnels children were when we met them (Isaac was just getting baptised).  It made my joy so full to know that as friends, we have an eternal relationship if we continue to live the gospel together and bear one anothers burdens.  I also knew Jon was with us today and will be watching over Isaac as he serves his mission.

  1. Well take 2, I don't know how this whole blog thing works or if you'll even see this as it's been awhile since you've been home but hoping one of the messages gets through. I was just showing Kylie the images that come up when I googled her name so she can be aware of how easy it is to have pictures out there. Never did I think I'd see your face in that image results section. When we clicked on the link, it brought us to your blog and my oh my was Kylie Peterson PSYCHED that her baptism picture was on your blog and your name isn't Elder...it's Isaac! HAHA! We have such fond memories of you and just wanted to say thanks for making such a positive impact on our lives. Hope you are doing well. All the best, Katie Peterson
