Aloha Ohana!!! This week was Awesome!!! I got to go on exchanges to Kuna Again and it was great! I was able to see more familys we used to teach and i was taken back at how quickly some have progressed... But i was saddened to see the few that moved or degressed in the gospel. It just breaks my heart when i see that. Anyway thats the ups and downs of missionary work right.. we all stil have our agency! We saw the Jones family (gospel worship one) and that was awesome! We were actually able to slip in when they had a small testimony meeting and we bore testimony of the savior! We loved it! one of the gospel songs we sang was interesting... i memorized it, here it is, "i love, i love, i love your presence. I love, i love, i love you Jesus!" That was the whole song.... no joke. over and over again.... hahaha anyway it went well and the pastors are just blown away that mormons believe in Jesus Christ! Crazy to think huh? If nothing else comes outta this, at least we were able to convince them all that we are not a cult! hahaha Eh but we tracted into this man this week that was crazy! He was a hard core hunter Back in the days and had a house full of dead mounted animals! It was cool and he offered to teach us how to taxidermy animals but we passed as we offered to teach him the gospel. to our suprise he accepted and we were able to teach about the priest hood! it was awesome! He had questions about it so we addressed it and even offered a blessing cause he has cancer! Just yet another Testimony building experence for me and my comp.! We had a crazy lesson with a German lady... Well ill start off like this, Sunday at church we were leaving and this lady stops me telling me i had to meet her sister! this lady had a wired voice but what ever i went and i met her sister! Well it did not take long for me to realize i either needed the gift of tounges QUICK or someone to translate this weird talk to me cause she sounded like she was chokeing! I later came to find out they call that German??? Anyway she was in tears and her sister who has lived here for a while said she "wants to know what that feeling was she had in church" WOW, REALLY? I was so stoked and we set up a lesson for mon. We had a return missionary lady who served in Germany and the sister present! So we taught and they translated it! The three ladys all cried the whole time and me and my comp taught slow! It was so spirit filled and DAGMAR (our investigator) was so blown away... Being raised Lutherian she never knew the plan of salvation which is what we taught! We had planned to teach lesson 1 (the Restoration) but it was evedent that she needed the plan of salvation cause she asked off the bat "what am i here for?" "What is my pourpose?" These two questions will make any missionarys ears perk up and fill them with excitement! All went well and we meet with her tomorrow! I cant wait! She is only here visiting for 3 weeks tho but if we dont baptise her here, we will get her hooked up with the missionaries in Germany! All in all it was just a great week in the service of my Lord! Grandma Richardson is doing great! Hasnt missed a day of taking her pills and we are sick and tired of chocolate milk! hahaha But we do it for her! She just waits all day for us to return home and its nice to have our biggest "cheerleader" right in our own home! Aloha till next week!
