Well this week was interesting to say the least! We had alot of crazy things happen! Ill start by saying that ill be leaving Eagle today to go to Meridian South and ill miss Eagle dearly! we have seen so many blessings and people progress in this area! We came in and shotgunned the area and there was no work going on! The elders that were here were not the most diligent so needless to say there was a ton of potential! We now have a huge teaching pool and we have many people coming closer to Christ everyday! Pres. Cannon called me a few nights ago congratulating me on my "New Assignment" and i was blown away with the faith he and the Lord have in me! He called me to be the Senior Zone Leader in Meridian and I was a little in shock... I Expressed my concerns to him one being that Ive only been out one year but he assured me that who the Lord calls, He qualifies! I feel so blessed that i have the chance to be an example to the Elders and sisters of the Idaho Boise mission... We had our personal interviews with Pres and we also had a Zone Leader council! We as zone leaders have tons and tons of meetings! I miss just being able to do missionary work 24-7 but i know i need to be patient in all these meetings were having! I'm just not a "meeting" type of guy... Id rather be knocking on doors way more. We had our missionary Fireside this week sun. and it went well! We had a huge turnout and the whole chapel and overflows were filled! The member trust here has blown up and the members gave us (we have not counted them all yet) but close to 60 referrals to contact and teach! It seems as if they were just waiting to find the right Elders to give their friends to and the referrals just poured in! CRAZY i have never seen so many members willing to give TRUE referrals like that!!! Life is so good!~ Pres. Cannon came to the fire side with his wife and Pres. Kotter came to speak as well... I got to play the ukulele to Joseph Smiths first prayer and the youth choir sang the song! It was crazy powerful!!! I am bummed to be leaving this area but the work will go forward and I remember that though i only see this little leaf at times... My heavenly Father sees the whole Forest and Knows all! We will be shotgunning again in Meridian... 3 times in a row we have done this... Fruitland, Eagle, And now Meridian... For those who don't know "Shotgun" means the 2 elders are transferred out and 2 new ones go in... normally due to lack of member trust or disobedient missionary's... All is well here and i feel so blessed! I love being a missionary and i love all the people here in Idaho! Aloha Ohana!
