March 30, 2010.

Aloha Family! this week was so nuts! we have seen many miricles and had so much fun! we set a date for a 71 year old man this week! its a crazy story but we have been teaching him for a while and his wife has been a mamber her whole life! she said she waited 50 years for this and i was so happy for her! what a great example of hope and patience! So we were in our lesson and i felt the prompting to set a date for a baptism for him! i told myself "no way, you gotta be kidding!" i pushed it away and moved on! then a few min. later i hurd it louder, the spirit saying "SET IT" im like "yeah right, bra theres no way!" i once again pushed it aside... finally i hurd it LOUD and CLEAR "SET A DATE NOW" i knew that i needed to do it cause the spirit would not leave me alone so i opened my big mouth and said, "Brother ........, you had said that you want to be with your family forever... that that was your goal?" he said yes of corse. i replied "I know how its possible... you need to make the first step and be baptised by the proper athority and take that leap of faith!" he said he knows he wants to be but was kinda scared... he is not in tip top shape you know and he has a hard time moving... i also spoke of goals and the importance of hAVing them so we set a date for april 17!!! ill be gone but depending on how far i go ill try to head back for it! we have been having fun too! actually as i write it turned from rain outside to hail then to snow! crazy idaho weather! we been doing service plenty too! we moved a family and cut wood and did some landscaping also! good fun to be out doors! the leaves are springing forth now and its so nice to see green for a change! no get me wrong tho i like the white but green is way better! i used to think bearing testimony was a personal optional thing till i went to church this sunday! i never wanted to bear testimony cause i always do but this was the first time i was called up in 3 wards to bear my final testimony in church in kuna! i was shocked that they could do that but i was stoked for the chance i had to express my love for all the hundreds of top knotch people! i think i must have touched a couples lives here cause i was so tired from saying goodbye! i very carefully say that there was lines to say good bye to, though i know it has been the spirit that has touched them and not me personally! i take no credit cause i know who is behind all this attention and love but i do deeply appreciate it greatly! life is so good! i am so blessed! my heart is so full with the love my heavenly father offers me and the people of kuna! they all say i need to keep in touch but i know it is not possible! the good lord has blessed us with people trying to feed us this last week cause im leaving and we now have every meal booked from breakfasts, lunchs, and of corse dinners! oh except for our friday lunch but its fine.. we can eat at artic circle and say goodbye to our friends there! imma leave so fat! filled with love and good food! transfer calls did not come yet but should tonight or tomorrow! ill let you know next tue where ill be going! it makes me so happy to see the progress everyone is making back home! i feel the lord blessing you all and i am so happy to know all is well! i have only had 2 problems on my mission so far and they are... Not being able to thank the lord enough for as much as i have been blessed with, and i cant seem to figure out how i can extend my mission! its so hard now days to do that! ill keep praying though and if its in my heavenly fathers plan i believe it will happen! God lives and he loves and knows each and every one of us! i know this and if you want to as well, talk to him! he will answer! Aloha till next week! Congrats Anela on the BIGGEST day of your life and to Makana and Carlos! im so proud of your worthieness to be able to baptise and confirm! More improtantly i know God is proud of you along with the many Angels we know were there in attendence!
