Howzit ohana! im so greatfull for the emails! this week was so intence! so much to say! um ill start with the best one! a random guy called and i answered and he said "eh is dis the Hawaiian missionary?" i said yeah get 2... he asked if he could take us out to lunch the next day and we said yeah so he picked us up and we went to hawaiian bbq in meridian! the whole way we talked and he lived in hauula so we knew lots of the same people!~ so cool! the owner of hawaiian bbq is a punahou grad and knew elder akinas dad! we had a mean lunch then out of nowhere uncle busses out his ukuleles and we had a fat jam sesh in the middle of the store! it was so busy too but the owner turned off the backround music and he asked us to just jam the local music for all the haole coustimers! too much fun! unko sings so good! his daughter danced hula in the store and we just had a good time! he hurd about us from elder akinas friend at byu that was friends with unkos daughter and so we had all the hawaiians gather in the store to welcome us in! i never knew we had such a huge poly group here! we went home full cause the owner kept making us random things for free like punahou carnival malasadas and stuff! so mean! on a more spritual note we started off this transfer with only 1 investigator but then she moved away so we had to work hard to find new people to teach! we now as of today have 14 investigators and 2 familys to teach! not to mention all the less actives! nutts ah! hard work pays off! but no worry! we have more than our share of good fun too! we just laugh all day long! we (elder akina and i) will be staying together for sure cause we just got transfer calls! we were so stoked! i cant explain how much the lord has blessed us! we see his hand in our days constantly! no joke! we love the people we live with so much and are greatly blessed to be with them! they feed us all and any meals we want! they buy all our food and are just awesome! the lord is looking out for sure! we were able to teach the lady we tracted into at 859pm and the lesson went great! she is one of our 14 new investigators! all i can say is life is great and this mission is the #1 greatest blessing in my life i would trade it for nothing! nothing! i love you all and miss you but i know God watches over and hooks you all up while im gone! thats for sure! shoots then! till next week!
