Letter from a sister in his area

Hi Sister Runnels,

I wanted to write a let you know what a great missionary you have.  We have had him in our home numerous times and he is full of energy and the spirit.  He has a great personality and is touching peoples life in our area.

We had him over for dinner the first time it snowed here.  I don't enjoy the cold but watching him made me happy.  He was standing out in our driveway with his arms spread and his face tilted upward.  He was so excited about snow!!  I wish I would have had a camera!!

On a more spiritual note, he is the first missionary who directly challenged my inactive husband to have companion prayer with me everynight.  He also challenged my husband to read scriptures every day.  For the first time in our 30 year marriage I am kneeling down with my husband in prayer.  What a brave young missionary he is to speak the truth with such conviction and no fear.  Thank you for raising such a fine young man.  He has blessed my life.

We currently have a son serving in the Washington DC mission.  He is coming home this Thanksgiving.  I can't wait for him to meet your son.

Thanks again for supporting your missionary and he told me to tell you he loves you and thinks about you all the time.
